Are there plans to release a software update for Huawei Y6 (2018) mobile phones or do I need a different make of tracker?  I don't have an iPhone any more and the Fitbit isn't really much use if it won't pair with my phone.

Unfortunately, fitbit don't tend to give us any advance notice of new phones being added to the supported list.

 

Have you tried syncing on your Y6? Not being on the supported list could just mean that it has not yet been tested by fitbit and it may work. I've had a quick search of the community and there don't seem to be any posts that suggest whether that phone works or not.

 

If it doesn't sync then try the standard fixes of restarting your phone and your fitbit but if that doesn't work then, as you say, your fitbit isn't really going to be of much use to you unless you have a another device e.g. a laptop, to sync to.
