Phone isn't compatible HTC Desire 626

I have an HTC Desire 626, and i just received a Fitbit Surge for Christmas, and I still have really no idea on how to operate this watch but my phone and watch are connected by bluetooth but when ever I receive a text message or a call my watch doesn't register it

@Lizzie1440, the HTC Desire 626 is not on the list of supported devices, so it is quite possible that notifications will not work with this phone.
