In the hope that this is a software issue, try restarting your fitbit using this procedure:
https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186/
Give it a few tries though as it doesn't always work. If that doesn't fix it then it's likely to be a hardware issue and in this case you should contact customer support via contact.fitbit.com who will be able to look into your warranty cover and your options.
