I have just cancelled my premium Fitbit subscription as for the last few weeks the app is not tracking my sleep using a pixel watch 4. It has gone from working brilliantly to only tracking resting heart rate, everything else shows 'no data'. Sleep times are also totally inaccurate and it just shows 'asleep' whereas before it worked perfectly with accurate times and REM, light, deep etc breakdown. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, reset and disconnected then reconnected the watch and no fix. What has happened!!!??

Hi, @BurrowCreature, welcome to the community. You may find this article of interest How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device - Fitbit Help Center . I note you've cancelled your Fitbit Premium subscription. This will reduce the sleep detail reported in the Fitbit app What should I know about Fitbit Premium? - Fitbit Help Center . Referring to the first link, you should review the Fitbit App settings.
I hope this helps, please post here again & let us know how you get on.
Cheers

i have also a sync problem with the new pixel watch 4 after the december update (05th december).
My watch will show heart rate at the moment and a chart of the last few hours, but fitbit app on my pixel phone shows "no data"
same goes for sleep tracking: the watch recognizes when i sleep and shows the little bed icon, but fitbit app on phone shows "no data"
Everything else like steps, calories, etc. works great.
i already factory reset the watch, deinstalled both apps on phone and watch, i also created a new fitbit account and signed in on my watch with a second google account -- nothing works

Hi thanks but I've been using the Fitbit app to track sleep ever since the original pixel watch, I know how to do it. As I said in the post it has beed working fine, now isn't. Seems like mine is not an isolated issue, is Google aware of this problem as seems to be related to the December update????

Thanks Vetta, definitely does not seem like an isolated incident that's for sure. I reached out to Google directly but they just palmed it off as a Fitbit app issue.

it's identical to my case. I reported it to Google Pixel support, after 7-8 emails with troubleshooting they said "it's a Fitbit Problem, please contact Fitbit support" and closed the case.
yesterday I did various talks to different Fitbit service people and we made couple of troubleshooting things.
the last thing I did was pairing my PW4 to an other smartphone (Pixel 6 Pro I have left from the past) and even after this fresh installation & paring, the heart rate is not synced into Fitbit app and the sleep is showing "no data"

me too and after many open tickets on support at Pixel and at Fitbit directly, nothing helped. i assume we need to wait for a official update release either on the watch Fitbit app or on the phone Fitbit app to fully support the December Update from PW4

I have the same issue ever since I purchased the watch 4 in December 2025. Did all the trouble shooting steps, reset, repairing, reinstalling, etc but nothing has worked. I have raised a case with fit it support today and waiting for them to come back after internal research with the higher up teams.
