Pixel watch 2 too much Steps

I noticed the Last days that the Steps Count wrong. I think its now double from normal 

Only.me? Or Others with the Same Problem?

I have pixel watch 2 with Pixel 7a - same problem. 

Tried a restart, might try a factory reset. very annoying. I did see an update take effect when I put it on charge recently... maybe it was that.

Did you start seeing the increase in step count after you installed the March Pixel Watch update? We've seen other Pixel Watch users reporting a similar issue after installing the March 2026 Pixel Watch update. 

If so, please report the issue using the Feedback option in both the Pixel Watch and Fitbit apps. 

Fitbit app:

• Tap your avatar in the upper right of the Today page in the Fitbit app
• Tap Feedback in the menu that opens
• Complete the prompt and submit

Pixel Watch app:

• Tap Tips & support in the Pixel Watch app
• Tap Send feedback
• Complete the prompt and submit

Although it's likely that you won't receive a response, we've gotten confirmation that the team reviews every submitted feedback report and uses the information for issue investigation.
