Pixel watches (version1) not syncing properly with Fitbit App

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am pulling my hair out!  My spouse and I both have Google Pixel watches (ver1) and pixel phones.  A pixel 8 Pro and a Pixel 7 Pro.  We are synced to our individual Pixel 1 watches.  Since a couple of days ago, we have been unbl to sync our pixel watches to our Fitbit App (premium) on our Pixel Phones.  We have performed ALL the troubleshhoting identified and still we get no sync for exercise data.  This is extraordinarily frustrating as we can find NO answers.    The Fitbit app states, "Couldn't sync your google pixel watch Tap to open help". Help of course did not help at all.  I have even reset a watch AND a phone with no luck.  I am going to cancel our premium membership as it is basically useless if the thing doesn't work.  You would think a google device would work with a google device and you cannot get any help as they have serious congestion due to PW3 rollout.  gonna give up on Pixel very soon!  this is unacceptable!!!

This has been going on for weeks.  Just literally had the following chat with "support" (if you can even call it that.....):

Hello @MrObvious1981 & @speedf

There's a known issue on the Fitbit side that affects seeing completed exercise data in the Fitbit app. This issue affects multiple Fitbit devices, including Pixel watches.

I know there's also an issue that affects syncing between Pixel Watches and the Fitbit app.

The team is aware of these issues and has been working on fixing the problems.

Regarding the issue with seeing completed exercise data in the app, users experiencing this problem reported that they see the correct number of exercise days in their Fitbit weekly progress email. That indicates to me that our data is being uploaded to our accounts on the Fitbit servers. It's the issue that apparently is causing the problem where we're not seeing the data in our app.

For now, there isn't any troubleshooting we can do since the issues are on the Fitbit side. I'm guessing the fixes will either be in an app and/or watch update or it might be fixed on the back end.

Thank you for your update! I have cancelled Fitbit premium as it isn't
anywhere close to "premium". Google should credit our accounts for their
failure to provide working software for which I paid.
