Planning to get a new phone that will work with the Fitbit app

Hi everyone, I am trying to select a phone that will work with the Fitbit app to sync my Charge 3 with no issues at all. I'm using this list https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315 as a guide but I do find it's incomplete and missing a lot of newer phones. 

I've thought of getting the Huawei P30 Lite but with all that stuff happening on the news, I don't want to lose support or get denied access to the Google Play store and no longer get the fitbit app updates.

I never owned a smartphone before, so I don't know what to pick. I want it to be below $400 though.

Got any ideas? I'm out in Canada.

I'm thinking of getting this. It looks pretty decent. It has to do better than the Windows 10 app. 😉 lol
