It's really frustrating to see a big notice saying that the app doesn't support weight gain. Not all of us are looking to lose weight.

Nevertheless the Food Plan does not support weight gain, it will set up on Maintain if your weight goal is to gain. In that sense @FitCami is completely correct.

@FitCami, if you are looking at the food plan, you are in the wrong place in the app - "tap on the Weight tile", not the Food tile.
Select the Weight Tile:
Then click Edit Goal:

@USAF-Larry -- @FitCami is referring to the web Food Plan, not the app. @FitCami, there is a Feature Suggestion asking for a weight gain plan -- here is the link. Sadly, its status is Not Currently Planned.
I didn't know that the app approach gave an option to gain. It would be great if this is the answer for you. My goal is some weight loss. I often try changing settings in the app and my trackers just to see what happens. I am not willing to test this as I don't want to mess up my progress.
Good luck!

Hi
I too wanted to gain weight and suggested it be added. But I did come up with a work around. You could put in the weight you desire to be as your current weight and then select maintain and it will calculate the number of calories you need to maintain that weight (which will be more than the calories you need to maintain your current weight) Obviously it would be best to do this in increases of 2 or so pounds to slowly add weight. I am going to try this but I thought I would share in case it wasn’t already suggested. Since this is an old suggestion this maybe moot for you.
Take Care!
The problem is that to gain weight it's necessary to eat more calories and with a food plan focussed on maintaining or losing instead of gaining doesn't make sense...
I am also frustrated by the lack of weight gain features. I am using the app. It does let me say my goal is to gain weight, but it doesn’t let me set up that tracking with food and it doesn’t have any main community groups for weight gain.
for noe I just try to go over the suggested calories per day.
