Hi!

I got myself a new phone because my old one broke. Unfortunately I bought the wrong device for using my fitbit Alta HR. I got a OnePlus 6 and I just found out that it´s not compatible with the fitbit, so it looks like my Alta HR can go back to the store because I have no use for it anymore. OnePlus is not a new brand on the market, on the contrary it´s rather popular nowadays.

Please make OnePlus compatible.

Hi, @Oskari , just because a phone is not on the compatible list, it does not mean that it will not work.  It just means that it has not been fully tested by the Fitbit developers and they have not confirmed that all aspects work.  I believe other memebers of the Community have managed to make the OnePlus work, so you may be able too.

I would suggest downloading the latest Fitbit app and try setting up there.  If you are unable to set up, check your phone's Bluetooth connections and delete your Fitit and try again.   Also restarting Blluetooth can help.

If none of this works, please do post again and indicate exactly how far you get, what error messages you received, and what seems to be working and what doesn't.

I appreciate that your phone is not on the compatibility list, so there are no guarantees.  However, I am guessing that someone will be able to get you going if you can be really clear about how far yu get and where you are having difficulty.

Good luck, and keep us posted.

Hi!

Thank you for your reply.

I've tried all the tricks to make my phone to connect to the fitbit. But it always tries to connect then it says it found the fitbit and then it crashes and says ''Bluetooth issue''.

Have you tried turning Bluetooth off on the phone and then restarting?  Alternatively restarting the phone can help, and also restarting the Fitbit: instructions here

Hi @Oskari, if you can return your fitbit I would.  Even if you get it to work now the next update could render it useless. If that happens you will get no support other than being told it's your fault for using an incompatible device. I feel like they just string you along until you're out of warranty and they get to keep your cash.
