App stopped syncing last night! This simple solution fixed the issue for me...

Warning you will need to re-set up fitbit app (no need to reset watch)

  1. Uninstall Fitbit app on your android device
  2. Reinstall Fitbit app via app store
  3. Open app and Logon
  4. Follow intial setup and toggle through all dashboard tiles
  5. Tap watch icon re-add notifications to link to desired apps, etc allowing Fitbit all permissions
  6. Exit app
  7. On phone go to: Settings/Apps/Fitbit/Permissions verify all permissions are toggled to the on position to include camera/contacts/loction/phone/sms/storage
  8. Open Fitbit app, tap watch icon/Wi-Fi/add or reconnect to wireless account (must be in range)
  9. Once connected back out and press sync

I'm sure countless techs are scrambling to resolve this issue, so these steps may not work for you maybe I lucked out...but it worked for me on my Ionic everything syncs, apps, clock faces, etc.

Cheers!

Ok, worked for me.

It seems to be mainly a permission issue.

I just went on my phone to Settings/Apps/Fitbit, force stopped the applications, then checked all the permissions (I was missing storage and sms permissions) and re-launched the fitbit application.

Now, everything is back to normal. Syncing, clock, weather, apps access, etc...

I'm a Fitbit Versa use, and use android phone (one plus 6).

I'd an update on my phone recommended by one plus 6, since then it has stopped syncing and i've been trying all the best possible remedies suggested on web or what i an think of however problem persists.

I allowed all the permissions, on/off Bluetooth.. not working.. .pls suggest
