so I've always been able to enter precise calories when manually entering tracking for workouts. I recently switched my old fibit to a new fitbit and the precise button no longer let's me use it. It's grey and usually is blue. Any suggestions on how to fix? App is updated all the way. Going to try to Uninstall then reinstall.
This is also an issue for me. I do cardio workouts on a treadmill, and with past versions of the app I have always been able to manually enter all the information without issue. Now, I cannot enter precise calories, and my workouts are therefore not being logged correctly. I use a FitBit so I can have accurate information about my health, but with this new error that is no longer possible. I'm very disappointed and hope FitBit resolves this issue.
Best AnswerSo i got an email back and the fitbit company apparently just changed the ability to edit calories based on intensity. Very unhappy with this change and makes me not want to use the fitbit app in the future especially for tracking. @Fitbit @hpsupport
Word for word
"Hi Kathleen,
Thanks for getting back. The calories can no longer be edited. To edit the amount of calories, you need to select the exercise and then edit the time and distance of the exercise to modify the amount of calories.
Hope this helps. If you have additional questions about your Fitbit device or services, please visit help.fitbit.com.
Sincerely,
Bailey C. and the Fitbit Team"
