Hi @Okmike2965, it is great to see you around the Community!
Our limited warranty provides replacements for trackers deemed to have a manufacturer's defect within 365 days of purchase. In this case, because your tracker didn't meet these warranty conditions, we offered a courtesy discount of 25% good towards the purchase of any tracker. On the other side, thanks for your feedback regarding the quality of the Fitbit Charge, however, Fitbit is not longer manufacturing this model, but, don't worry, you can take a look into our new products that have new features and the design has improved a lot, they are pretty cool!
Have a nice day!

Sorry to see you go, @Okmike2965. Best of luck with whatever tracker you decide on. Since the Fitbit Charge is no longer made or sold, any design problems are a mute point at this time. But, you may want to consider using your 25% discount coupon on a new Charge 2, which has interchangeable bands. I love the new features of the Charge 2, and it seems to be very well designed as well.

I think you may have misread my post, @Okmike2965, since I never "admitted" that the Charge was a poor design. I said "any design problems are a mute point at this time" - that does not say there was any particular poor design, but since it isn't made or sold anymore, it is a mute point. Best of luck with your future trackers!
