Question regarding Health Connect integration.

ANSWERED

I have a question regarding the integration between Fitbit and Health Connect.
When initially syncing step count data recorded in Fitbit with Health Connect, only step count data from the past 30 days is imported.
Is there a way to import step count data older than 30 days into Health Connect?
If so, where can I find instructions on how to do this?

Hi, @Tokoin , welcome to the community. I'm sure you know Health Connect provides a method of sharing Fitbit's data with other apps and Vice Versa. Which other app are you attempting to populate?

Gemini advises that a Fitbit stores about 7 days of detailed, minute-by-minute data and up to 30 days of daily summary data (like steps and calories) on the device itself. If you don't sync for over a week, the device will start to overwrite the oldest detailed data, leaving you with only the newer week's information plus 30 days of daily totals.
I hope this helps.
