So the Fitbit for the most part has been accurate but last night I went to bed at 10:50PM and woke around 7:45AM. The Fitbit has it registered that I went to bed at 12:15AM which is not correct. Not sure why this is.
The 2nd thing is, how is it that I am ahead of someone by 40,000 steps and 2 days later they pass me and are 20,000 steps ahead of me? They go from 11,000 to nearly 70,000 steps in 2 days.
Thank you in advance.

Hello @BNS1968.
Thanks for sharing your experience and those questions in here. I'd like to answer both of those questions:
- In regards to the sleep, it is important to keep in mind that the Fitbit uses a combination of your HR (if available), and your movement. If your HR remains high or you are moving around very much during your first hours of sleep then the Fitbit might think that you are awake.
- That would depend on the user. It could be possible that they logged more steps in a specific day. My question to better understand would be: Is this happening on a Challenge or where exactly?
I hope this helps you out and I look forward to your reply.
