Hi. I have just discovered this too. Until yesterday I was able to click on the vertical lines on the sleep graph (mobile Android app) and see actual times awake, restless etc
Your suggestion to press and hold doesn't work for me. I'm wondering if the recent updates to the app have affected this functionality, which I used daily.
Any solutions gratefully received as I don't really want to have to fire up my laptop every time I want more detailed info.
Many thanks
Alex

@Wallace20, I merged your post with this thread, since this an app problem and not a hardware problem. You may want to read over the posts just above for more information on this issue.

I am also disappointed this has changed. Annoyed that the sleep stages shows up in help as if it is already working, and now this loss of ability to identify times on the sleep pattern graph.
Is it possible to get back the previous version instead? If I delete the app and reinstall will I lose all my stats?

@Rosielee, deleting & reinstalling the app will not lose any data, but it will not correct the problem. Read the posts just above yours about a scheduled fix date.

I have updated the fitbit app and now I cannot view the detail of my sleep anymore.(the time you were awake or restless during your sleep)
Is it only me?:o
I love that feature...

Thanks for your help, @ErickFitbit. I, for one, really appreciate your efforts here.
I am having the same issue. I'm providing my phone info if needed.
App version 2.45 (2183107)
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
Android version 6.0.1
If you need any other info just let me know and I'll be happy to help.
Thank again! 🙂

Please help, I use to be able to see actual time of restlessness and when awake by touching those recorded, now NOTHING. It seems to have disappeared after update last week. I used that to help me track consistency. Will it be fixed?

@ErickFitbit, thank you for telling us that this would be fixed in the 27 March update. That update is now out, and sleep is now shown in a different way. I'm intrigued to see how it will play out over time, apparently I only spent 4% of the night in deep sleep (It chirruped, "If you're feeling extra refreshed, you likely spent some solid time in this phase!" So they're not analysing it yet, then), but the pop-up tags you could click on to see exactly when you were awake and exactly how long it took you to fall asleep are completely gone.

This is outrageous! How are we supposed to tell when we've actually fallen asleep and what times we were awake/restless??? I need that info because the Fitbit always says I'm asleep an hour or more before I'm actually asleep because I'm in bed trying to fall asleep! I can't edit my sleep log now with that info gone. We need to know the exact times, without it, the sleep tracker is useless. Those of us with sleep disorders or sleep problems have been royally screwed by this. The update didn't fix anything! Bring this feature back! Or my family, friends and I are returning our Fitbits!

I've always been able to tap on the sleep bar graph to get the details of my restless/awake periods. Starting last week it stopped cooperating. How can I find out how long i was awake/restless.
Thanks 😀

I had the exact same issue right after updating. I called the support team and apparently that feature has been discontinued. I'm not sure why they would take that feature away as it was the only helpful part of the sleep/restless bar graph that was helpful. Please bring it back!

What's going on? It seems obvious that there is a problem that was caused by an update. Fix it and stop acting like this is a user issue, with all the reports of the same problem it's time for Fitbit to step up and let us all know what is going on.

@Metfan, @Blahhh, @hawaianstr - if you read through some of the previous posts, you'll see a post that there is to be a release, probably today to fix this. It won't fix past events, but those going forward. I got the update this morning.
