The Android dashboard will go into edit mode if you touch a tile too long. That allows you to hold and drag a tile to a new position without using the "edit" button.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I leave the app and it's okay. I come back to it and it's in edit mode, with the extra stuff showing that I removed (and, yes, I saved the removal). Haven't touched a thing in the app, just brought it up. I've been using it for almost 1.5 years, and this just started happening recently. Of course, for the majority of that time these extra things weren't available (and in the way).
