I would probably like the Challenges to follow the Exercise and Sleep etc.. because those are what I address more often.

@AlessFitbit All working well but I have notice a subtle change.
When I open the App, after switching the phone on first thing in the morning, the steps etc sync immediately. Then it goes off "Searching for Device" and doesn't go into syncing and with no response updating sleep etc.
When that happens I turn off the Ionic, restart and all works.
I just did a test then and he steps showed up immediately, it didn't look for the device, but just stayed in a syncing loop.
I switched the Ionic off, immediately the App messaged, "No Device". Switched the Ionic on again, and it went through the syncing process within 15 seconds and then status in all of the Challenges was displayed.
I'm not worried about it, but just letting you know there has been a subtle difference.

Hi @Colinm39, I always read your reports as I have a Sony Xperia but I am using a charge 2.
I have noticed the same thing with the new interface. The steps show up and if you do the pull down thing to synch it says it's doing it. But I find that if you check the synch time it hasn't really done it. I have to go to my little image and then select the tracker image and then select synch. Even then it may take an attempt or two. It seems better if I don't have phone call notifications selected. Text is apparently acceptable. I don't actually use this service as I only put Bluetooth on when I synch but that seems to help to get live heart rate for some reason.
Anyway thanks for your reports.
Cheers.

@Lilbiddy Thanks for the reply. Appreciated because we spread the word.
I have all notifications set and have never had issues there. Just my observation with release 3.3.1

The 3.6.1 update worked smoothly.
After these updates I follow this procedure..
This time I wasn't getting notifications,
Now 24 hours on, and I don't have any issues, also 3 days after my OS 4.0.1 update to the Ionic.
Swipe down on the Fitbit App for syncing works, and occasionally a few seconds looking for the device - Ionic..

All going OK, except this morning I noticed when a new Challenge comes in........
I'm notified by email, then I go into the App and lo and behold that new Challenge is sitting between my Activity Stats and the Health & Fitness Stats.
I have to edit the Dashboard and re-sequence. Is this the expected behavior ?. It has never happened to me before. I keep the challenges as the last items on the Dashboard
This post has a few of us comparing notes at the moment

@Deathwishvixen I have been following the issues, and I cannot offer solutions because I don't have any. In the early days of the Ionic I had one replaced because of rapid battery loss at 4 days, and the other had odd issues. Both replaced within 3 days door to door from Hong Kong to Melbourne. I can't complain about the Fitbit service.
My Android just updated with V9.0 and everything about Fitbit is working..
I have been around since late 2011 with a variety of Fitbits and can't recall any software update issues on the App or the devices.

Update 3.10.1 works and syncs ok.... For those reading this, I have the basic system on the Ionic.. Deleted the Apps I don't use, and have a Fitbit Clock face, the Ace.. Always Connected is On and All Day Sync is off.. I switch the phone off at night and when ever I charge the Ionic I switch it off first abnd let the charge throughh my Windos 7 USB port restart the Ionic.
All notifications work, and when not using the GPS, I get 5+ days out of charge down to about 18%. Auto detect works, but create odd assumptions which I rename. Mostly I mentally examine the assumptions and what I was manually doing at the time would equate to the detection type.
All Challenges work and Friends show up. Sleep stages are working and Fitbit Premium results are informative.
All of this on a phone that is not on Fitbit's list of devices.. an earlier model is there.
GPS through the Ionic works etc.. when I use it.. I mainly use Workout and rename.
Edited Just tested inbuilt GPS with the Ionic and all of the expected details were synced, ie, Distance, Steps, HR, Elevation and was accurate with Google Pedometer
All I can do is report because I'm having no errors..
