Readiness score/suggested active minutes seem off

My app never seems to think I've done enough exercise, and even though it's irrational it bugs me that it doesn't seem to recognise my efforts.

For context, it registers me walking around 15 to 20k steps every day, and I do weight training 3-4x a week plus a spin class. It's not that my heart rate isn't getting high enough, because it appears to be registering fine. I average about 150 active zone minutes a day.

Yet the app always thinks my readiness is excellent. Even after a day with 240 active minutes where I know I pushed myself.

Today it recommends that I aim for 166 active zone minutes - that's too many! I don't have time! Yesterday it rated my readiness as excellent despite me only getting 5 hours of sleep and doing 173 active zone minutes the day before.

I'm trying to believe it's just that I'm in such great shape that I'm always ready for more, but it just doesn't seem right to me. And though it's silly I do get disappointed when I don't meet the targets it suggests for me. I just wish there was a way to tone down the app's ambition a bit, you know? Is there any way to do this?

I have the same issue, and it is frustrating! It happens all the time. For instance, yesterday I earned 138 active minutes, but only got 5 hrs sleep and my Readiness says light activity and excellent sleep.

I hope a fitbit expert will explain this, and get things corrected.
