Repeated "App Configuration Failed" message.

I'm getting repeated notifications on my phone from Fitbit that "App Configuration Failed - Visit the Gallery to retry". I visit the Gallery but there's no indication of what has failed or how to retry.

I've dismissed this notification but it keeps returning.

My phone is the Galaxy S8+ running Android 7.0.

Hi

Feel free to clear the Fitbit App cache on the phone, all your data stays intact, the fitbit app will recreate the cache when syncing with your account.

Sometimes installing new app updates over existing ones, while using the cache for the previous app version(s).. can cause bugs / glitches.. like a app not loading, or crashing..

Check out the Android Central Article (Credit to author's of the website / article):

* Optionally feel free to uninstall the fitbit app, restart the phone & reinstall the app freshly.
