Restart required to receive notifications

I have a Charge 3 paired to Huawei P20 Pro. Phone and tracker restarted 3 times and still not getting notifications and still getting this message. Test call goes through but that's it.

Any help would be great. Thankyou!

Hi @Jdycks, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, welcome back!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention an for troubleshooting your device prior to posting too, the screenshot that was attached on your post was really helpful for me to understand in a better way your concern. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Charge 3 are correctly configured.

After verifying the above, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hi Ricardo,

Yeah I've just gone through it all and all notifications and alerts are allowed on both devices.

Ive just had a call come through the watch but that's the first out of quite a few calls I've had today. Still no messages.

Thanks

Jade

Thanks for your reply @Jdycks, sorry for the delayed response..

I appreciate your update, seems odd that you're not receiving text notifications after reviewing the information that was shared on my previous post. Can you please let me know if the Android and Fitbit app versions are up to date? If possible, please send me a screenshot of the messages app settings.

Looking forward to your reply.

Hi Ricardo,

Not sure what you mean by the messages app settings. I use messenger as my main messages then sms and WhatsApp. All have the notifications allowed.

I rebooted everything again last night and left my phone to charge overnight so no changes and it's come straight back up with phone restart required for messaging service. So again woke up no messaging.

Thankyou

Hey, I have no idea if you will get this, I'm hoping there will be a link to the original feed....

I am experiencing the same issues and have followed every step of advice given from unpairing, clearing data, rebooting x100 to deleting and starting from scratch.  I have all permissions set etc, there is no advice left for me to follow...so what now?

Call notifications work but no texts etc. I have Samsung galaxy s7 and my fitbit versa lite is 9 months old.  Please help 🙂
