Resuming sync on Android 9

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I own a Charge 3, and I managed to get it to sync to my Pixel 3 (currently running May 2019 patch) if I try enough times (including: switching off and on bluetooth, switch off WiFi while a sync is running etc.). Once sync'ed, my charge 3 and phone will stay connected (notification works, I can unlock my phone without a PIN via android's smart lock), until I leave my phone away from the bluetooth reception area. Once the connection is broken, both device don't seem to talk together anymore, until a manual sync is done (the switch off-on bluetooth, switch off WiFi, rinse and repeat).

It gets fairly annoying, is there going to be a solution to this?

Am rather disappointed here (especially after seeing the support practically stopped in the android 9 sync problem thread).
