Revoking another phone on my account Access

ANSWERED
Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S-9.

It shows up on my account access as well as my computer.

There is a 3rd device logged in and it is an Apple phone.

I don't own an apple phone and it shows the same IP address as mine.

The challenge is the only one I am able to revoke is my android.

It does give me the option to revoke the Apple.

Welcome to the Forums @mwmaring.

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing your concerns on the matter. I can definitely understand how this must be very frustrating.

In this case I'd like to ask some questions:

  • Are you seeing this information on the Fitbit app on your S9 or on the web Dashboard?
  • Is there any point in which you have used an Apple device to log into your account? At any point?
  • On your last sentence, you mean to say that it does not give you the option to revoke the Apple device, correct? Again, is this on the app or on the web Dashboard?

Look forward to your reply.

1. It is on my computer dashboard.

2. I do not own an apple anything. My girlfriend does but she has her own
place and does not live with me.

3. Correct it only gives me the option to revoke the s9.

Hello @mwmaring.

I apologize for the delay in my response. Thanks for answering those questions.

It should be possible to revoke the access of that Apple device through the app on your S9. You should be able to find that option on the app by going to Settings, tapping on Security & Login and then Manage Account Access.

Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions.

I am currently using an iPhone, but had a Samsung phone in the past. The Samsung phone is still showing up in my Account Access. I tried to Revoke it and it says that an error occurred. I'd rather not change my password, as I would have to change it in at least 3 places -- phone, tablet, computer!! Any other ideas?

@CJLittle Hi there. Thanks for the details mentioned.

Please try logging out from the Fitbit app, force quit it, log back in and revoke access to this phone. You may want to revoke access to this from the online Dashboard by doing the following:

- Visit your online Dashboard

- Click on your profile picture > Settings

- Manage Account Settings

- Revoke access to the Samsung phone

Hope this helps.

I'm still getting the same error about a problem doing the revoke process. I tried it from Fitbit.com in a browser.
