Running distance accuracy

I have a fitbit Versa and I run using my watch and connected to my Samsung S9. I thought something wasn't right as I felt I was going further than the watch showed me. I googled mapped & another map the first part of my run that shows it to be 1.3 miles. When I have run it and looked at my watch and get to that point it only shows it as 0.85 miles and that is a massive difference. How can there be such a difference in distance?

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Is this issue occurring with an specific exercise or with all of them? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your Versa to refresh its performance.
