Runs missing from dashboard in app

Hiya,

I've noticed that some of my runs are missing from my log in the app. These are past runs from months ago rather than a run that I've just completed. My activity log jumps from the week of 9-15 March to the week of 27 April - 3 May. That's six weeks of missing data!

However, this data is in my activity log on the website so it's stored somewhere but not showing up in my app. Any way to fix this?

FYI I've deleted and reinstalled the app already and that's not fixed it as well as the usual turning my phone off and on again.

@ERB20   You are describing a phone app issue, not a device issue.  What kind of phone do you use?  Android or iPhone?  Your thread can be moved to a more appropriate forum.  If other users are having the same issue, Fitbit can investigate it as an app bug.

Your Fitbit data is stored on Fitbit's cloud services. This is where both the web and the app get the data from.

@ERB20, I agree with @LZeeW  in that the app is not doing something correctly, Have you searched the board for your phone model?

Hi @LZeeW, thanks for your reply. I have a Google Pixel 2 (Android). The thing that's odd is that this data used to be there, it's only disappeared in the last week or so. I've not had any software updates from my phone, the Fitbit app may have updated but I'm not sure as I let it do the updates automatically.

Hi @Rich_Laue, thanks for your reply. I haven't searched for my phone, but I've searched for the problem and couldn't find anything like the problem I'm experiencing (most people noted a recently completed run missing, rather than runs completed several weeks before). I'll have another look to see if there's something more relevant, but haven't had any luck so far!

What's odd is that data used to be in my app, it's only disappeared in the last week or so.

@ERB20   I'm going to move this thread to the Android forum.  If other Android users are experiencing the same issue, they can always tap on the Affects Me Too button.  You can also add on if data disappears again.

User reports like this are a major way Fitbit becomes aware of app bugs.

Thank you both. It seems the apps resolved its own issues, the data has reappeared in my exercise log!
