Seriously FitBit. Stop wasting time with Pebble and FIX your sync problems! I'm sick of having to restart my Samsung Galaxy S7 just to sync. Before you suggest it; yes, I have tried every one of the suggested solutions. All of no help at all. Seriously, just fix it!

Got my first fitbitfor Christmas it's a blaze, and every 2-3 days I have issues syncing. 24 hours now this time and nothing I do seems to work. Blaze and damaging s6 edge. Thanks.

Sync problem is driving get me nuts too!  Using an Alta and a Samsung Galaxy J3 but it syncs intermittently and then only after quitting The application repeatedly and resetting my phone repeatedly.  So so annoying.  Have worked through all the trouble shooting suggestions too.

I am having issues with sync too on my Galaxy S6 Edge. All versions up to date, location enabled and Bluetooth on. Sporadically stops syncing. If you restart your phone it fixes it but pretty frustrating!! When is a fix expected?

I am on my third Charge HR in less than a year and it has been nothing but problems. Just opened up the second replacement yesterday and now it will not sync with the app. 😠 I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Sync issue is a daily issue

You would think since the main thing you want to get out of a "mobile app" is to be able to use it without the old windows version of the 3 finger salute that would be the main thing to pass Quality control before Fitbit rolls their updates out the door. If the Quality control folks can't get that right then it leaves me with no faith in the accuracy of the other stats on the app. So FYI a pedometer is 5 bucks and needs no updates and a restart is a 1 second push of a button. Just sayin . If Fitbit ever fixes the restart issues I will make sure it does no more auto updates.

ALTA,  as of your last update it requires a restart every single day. I question it's reliability to the point of using it for a pretty watch. Pedometer 5 bucks and it works every day without jumping through hoops. Really this made it past quality control? Sad

I have a Charge HR, had for over a year, never a problem with it until this latest update, restarting doesnt work, uninstalling and installing doesn't work, hasn't synced properly since yesterday but it's been off and on since the update, generally can get it after a few tries, until yesterday when it decided to stop. Everything is updated, including my phone and still nothing, it's extremely frustrating because I can't even update the dashboard online since I can't find the Mac version of the Fitbit desktop client.

@Webbr23 I recommend only syncing with 1 tracker paired to your account at a time. Wearing a combination of trackers simultaneously does not provide any more features than wearing trackers individually. If you're interested in wearing more than one tracker at once so you can compare their data, you can do so by creating a separate account for each tracker. If your account has multiple trackers and you forget to take one off before putting on another, rest assured we’ll reconcile the overlapping data to present the most accurate information possible on your dashboard.

If not, I recommend giving that a try. Let me know if that helps.

@I-Think-I-Can As several days have passed since your post I wanted to check in to see if you're still experiencing issues when attempting to sync?

@Stephieru Thank you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own. At this point, I suggest getting in touch with our Support Team and letting them know the details of your experience along with the details of what you've already tried. I am confident that our team will be able to provide you with further options for getting back on track.

My only issue is that my fitbit flex will connect/or stnc to someone elses steps that arent even mine... I dont think restarting my fitbit will work. I am not sure how to restart my fitbit anyway.. And my fitbit is the ONLY fitbit connected to my account so.. I dunno.

I do not wear the two trackers simultaneously. Flex 2 most of the time and
the Charge 2 for exercise. I have reset, repaired, reinstalled, restarted
Bluetooth, muttered incantations. The ONLY thing that works is restarting
the phone - as reported by many users in this and other forums!

I only have one tracker on my account. Syncing is still an issue.

@ErickFitbit I was able to get my Charge HR to sync with my Samsung Note 4. Here is the link to the steps I took: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/My-successful-solution-to-sync-my-Charge-HR-to-my-Samsun...

I only wear 1 fitbit. It is an Alta. It only does a sync for 24 hours. At
midnight it requires my galaxy S5 to be restarted. My husband wears a HR
Charge. He also has a S5. He does not require a restart. Forgive me for
being extremely suspicious that this started after your last update. My IT
background never allowed us to roll out untested updates like this much
less bandaid fixes.

Hi everyone! I'm back with how I fixed mine, after talking to support they had my plug in my Charge HR to charge it and then hold down the button for 15secs to reset the device. after that it sync'd didn't forget any of the stats of the past couple days where it couldn't sync either so thats amazing.

@auntie_erin12 Hmmm, that's odd as your Fitbit tracker can only be paired to 1 account at a time.

@auntie_erin12 @Webbr23 @RobinWirick I recommend deleting the tracker from your account and adding it again with these instructions. Give that a try and then attempt to sync again.

@Keshia_fit @Stephieru Thank you for confirming that you're able to sync again after some troubleshooting. Thank you for the update!

@tkwalther565656 I suggest restarting the Alta and then attempting to sync once again. Let me know how that works out.

First I do NOT have an S7. I have an S5. And restarting the phone is the
only way it will sync after 24 hours. This started after one of the updates
sent automatically. Now every single day and there are no exceptions,
absolutely none that allows my Alta to sync without restarting the phone.
Maybe Fitbit could include an app that will automatically restart the phone
every day automatically at 12:01 every day. If you have another bandage fix
to correct it I'm all ears.

My experience is almost identical although it is not a 24 HR problem. It happens more regularly than that. FitBit's android implementation is seriously flawed! Ironic for a mobile device!

I'm having syncing problems with my Tracker2 not syncing with either my Galaxy S7 or my Goggle Nexus tablet. This has been going on for a couple of weeks & my weekly report then shows less than I have actually done. Seriously hacked off with this problem!
