I wish I would have known the Samsung A20 wasn't compatible with my Fitbit before I purchased. I took my fitbit off😭

I have had some success by setting up my fitbit on the app on my IPAD. It has then seemed to have linked with the app on my Samsung A20.

Hi everyone. It's great to see you participating in this thread. I'm sorry for the delay and let me continue helping you with your inquiries.
I understand how you're feeling about not having your phone supported, and I'm sorry for any frustration that this has caused. As you may know, our team performs tests to optimize the Fitbit app and ensure its functionality with this model. Currently we don't have a time frame when the Samsung Galaxy A20 will be added to the compatible devices list, I'd suggest to check this request submitted in the Feature Suggestions board and add your vote to support it. The more votes an idea receives, the better chance it has of getting the attention of the developers.
Even though there isn't a guarantee that the Fitbit app will always work with this phone, you can give a try to the troubleshooting steps from this help article to try getting your Fitbit devices syncing one more time.
Hope to keep seeing you around!

Hi @1970c and @Martyncc, I'm glad to see you here in the Forums and I'm sorry for my delayed response.
@1970c, thanks for letting me know that your Fitbit is able to sync. While the notifications may not be working due the incompatibility with your Samsung Galaxy A20 phone, we can try to troubleshoot this situation together. First of all, I'd suggest to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app from the Play store. Make sure to turn off other Bluetooth connections that aren't in use and give a try to the steps from this help article. Keep me posted about the outcome.
@Martyncc, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, and I'm sorry that you've had this experience. Our team takes every feedback seriously as it helps us to work on our devices and improve their performance. Your comments won't go unnoticed, you and your wife are always welcome back to the Fitbit family if you change of mind.
I'll be around if you need anything else.

HI that's the same experience my wife is having .she has now lost the communication completely .Not looking good is it ? My wife still has her old Sony phone and has reinstalled it on that but its a bit of a pain to be honest . I perchaced the basic Galaxy device and i love it . But i think its a shame that Galaxy are not telling customers about this problem and rectifying it . we had a problem with my wife's hearing aid they are linked to an app on the phone so you can adjust for different environments this didn't work and we had to return to the hearing aid manufacturer to get it sorted thankfully they where able to sort the problem .

Hi @1970c and @Martyncc. Thanks for getting back.
@1970c, I appreciate your efforts in reinstalling the Fitbit app. Just to confirm, have you also tried turning off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby and try the troubleshooting from this help article? If so, I'd recommend to try using a supported device to sync and receive notifications while we add the Samsung Galaxy A20 to the compatible devices list.
@Martyncc, I understand how you're feeling about your wife's phone not being supported and thanks for your thoughts about this situation. Our team will continue working on the Fitbit app so it can be optimized for more Android models. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will be passed to our team.
I'll be around if you have another question.

I have just taken out a 24 month contract with a Samsung Galaxy A20 only to find it is not compatible with my Fitbit app - to say I am disappointed is an understatement and your replies have not filled me with much optimism that this will be resolved soon
