Samsung Galaxy A5 compatibility with Fitbit 2 charge

Hi I would love to get my dad a Fitbit 2 charge for Christmas but I have just discovered his phone is the Samsung Galaxy A5 6 which is not on the list of compatible phones. I was wondering if anyone had the same phone and had any issues or success?

@Loubielou Welcome to the Fitbit Community! As that device is not listed under the list of supported devices yet you might experience issues syncing the tracker with it. However, you will be able to manually log your activities, sleep, and food.
