Samsung Galaxy S20 compatibility with Charge 2

So I am going to go out on a limb here and say that the charge 2 is not compatible with the new Samsung S20. I haven't been able to access the app since I got the new phone yesterday. I just keep getting "fitbit.com is unavailable". How long until this gets fixed?? Not much point in wearing the fitbit if I can't see the results.

Thanks for your post and the details that were shared with me, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. Keep in mind that the Samsung Galaxy S20 is not yet listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you can experience some connection difficulties with it and your Charge 2. However, if you're receiving such error message while trying to open the Fitbit app, please try the following steps:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Reboot your mobile device.
  4. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  5. Login using your account credentials.

My new S20+ syncs with my Alta but not able to get texts and notifications. Hope they make it compatible soon! ☹

I am having the exact same problems. I am not receiving text or phone notifications. Need some help. Everything else is working fine  Help!

As far as I know, the Fitbit app has not been updated yet to be compatible
with the new S20 phones. I'm hoping they will push out an update soon!!

Along with others that recently purchased the galaxy s20, my charger 2 is not responding despite the reset and I mistakenly unpaired it from the app and if course fitbit does not recognize it via my new phone.  So I can't even add the charger 2 back to my profile. Will Fitbit add the new phones soon? I enjoy seeing my progress via the app.

Hello.  I note from the message board your comments in September last year.  When will the Samsung S20 be listed as a compatible device?

Which Samsung mobile phones are compatible?

 

Is this a problem at FitBit's end or Samsung?

The S20 is compatible.  I found that you have to re-connect your new mobile to the Fitbit (the model you have).

Best to google for the steps.   You are asked several questions and receive a 4 digit code.
