I just got a fitbit HR and am a little upset that it is not compatible with my phone, the galaxy S6 active. I was so excited to get the fitbit but dont see the point in keeping it past my return date if I cant use all the functionalities it offers. Its too bad I have to return my fitbit, would of loved to be part of my friends challenges,  but am glad I did not get rid of my polar fit tracking device before finding this out.

welcome aboard to our Community @My2sky. I have move your post from our Feature Request board since the topic you are discussing is more relevant to the Android board so other users can offer you assistance too and with the intention to sort our community.

I can understand why you are upset, note when a device is not in our compatible list, it will mean that the phone has not been fully tested to guarantee all the features will work on that specific model or definitively the phone wont be compatible, but this is due to OS limitations. Rest assure the team are always testing new devices and adding to our list of supported Android models.

I wonder if you have tried it already the app, I have an Xperia phone and is not in the supported list of mobile devices, nonetheless I can use all the features that it offers, It take time to sync sometimes but its not a big deal for me. Perhaps, before you return your tracker, give it a try. Also you can sync with a computer too as an alternative.

Keep me posted how it goes, I'll be here.

I have the same phone and everything works flawlessly with the fitbit alta. You could have disabled something in the settings that should've stayed enabled.

Hi there @My2sky and welcome aboard to our community @jack46. I'm super happy to hear everything is working fine. Most of the phones are build with the same core specifications nowadays except for some exclusive features among brands, so its rare to find a high end device that is not compatible. However if is on the list we can guarantee it will work flawlessly.

Happy stepping and see you around.
