Hello @Alanbee21, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community. I saw you were looking for a immediate response and I'm sorry for the delay. However note that the Fitbit Community instead of being a platform for direct support is more a channel of communication and help among the Fitbit community members. Nonetheless we as Moderators do our best to assist all our users in timely manner.

About your concern I can see your point and I understand your feedback. Many Android devices has all the hardware requirements, but if is not on our list of supported devices we cannot guarantee all the features and functionalities of the Fitbit tracker will work with the phone/tablet in question.

If you found issues to sync or set up,  I suggest setting up and syncing via a device listed as supported or using a computer. Rest assure our team is always working to test and add more Android devices option to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for future updates!

See you until the next time.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. I have been able to sync to a tablet which can
sync with my Samsung phone. It"s a shame that it cannot sync directy with
the phone, which I carry at all times, but c'est la vie. Other than that
I"m pleased with my Fitbit Alta.
