Samsung S7

Just bought a new Fitbit Charge HR for my husband for Father's Day.  Installed it with the Fitbit app on his computer and got it going, but his Samsung Galaxy S7 will not even recoginze it at all to sync.  I have attempted several times to turn on and off the Bluetooth on the phone, turn off and on the phone itself, remove the device and attempt to install it through the phone (the bluetooth wouldn't recognize it, while it will recognize other bluetooth items in the house), and I have removed it and reinstalled it on the app through the computer. I also did a hard reboot of the Charge HR itself and tried reinstalling it.  All to no avail.

I am at my wits end with this.  I love the Fitbit.  We tried the Blaze for him with the same problem.  I have a Blaze and the same phone with no problems.  Is there someone with more knowledge out there that could help me?

Per the supported devices page, the Galaxy S7 (regardless of version) is not yet supported.

That is not true.  Both of our old Fitbit Charge HRs sync'd to our Samsung Galaxy S7s.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it is certainly true Fitbit does not yet support the Galaxy S7.  Some seem to work, some do not; until it is fully tested and supported...  You get the idea.

Edit: It's okay for you to doubt my word, but hey, look it up for yourself: https://www.fitbit.com/devices
