My S8 will not pair with a brand new Charge 3. It looks like lots of people have this problem.
I have tried all suggestions. It still does not work.
Is there a fix for this?

Are you really trying to pair the tracker the rough the phones Bluetooth? you should get the error message saying the Charge 3 cancelled.
You need to do the Add Device found in the Fitbit app.

Sorry your post started out saying the phone will pair to tracker. The title is phone not pairing to tracker see why I got the idea of pairing the two units?
Nothing in the post mentioned if the tracker was setup to the Fitbit account or not or if it was a setup, sync, or notification issue. Only notification requires the tracker to be a trusted device.

Thank you for replying. Sorry if the contents weren't clear. It was the second time I tried typing up the message. The first time I had put more information in. I've been through about six different web pages to try and sort it. It might been something on my phone.
I have enabled all notifications for all apps on my phone and I will give it another go.

After many hours of trying to get it to pair with the fitbit app I returned the fitbit to the shop and got a replacement. There was also an issue with the battery running down incredibly fast from 100% to 15% in a few hours.
The new fitbit paired with the app first time; no problems with its battery.
