Just purchased Blaze fit bit and Samsung S8 does not receive notifications. Any special instructions or does it still not work from previous threads that I have read.

I definitely understand that this can be quite frustrating.
Let me tell you that this is an issue that has already been reported and it seems to be something affecting the S8 themselves and their ability to connect to some Bluetooth devices. We're waiting for Samsung to release some sort of update on the matter but at the time we have no news on it.
