Samsung a40 compatible device

I have a fitbit alta from 2017, however since I have upgraded my samsung phone to the samsung a40, it is no longer compatible. I was thinking of moving to a different device anyway and I would like to know which Fitbit device will work with / compatible with a samsung a40? Any help would be greatfully received.

Unfortunately, the A40 is not on the list of supported devices at www.fitbit.com/devices

 

This means that either it has been tested by fitbit and shown to not fully work (with any fitbit) or it could just mean that it hasn't yet been tested. However, I searched for posts about that phone and it seems lots of people are having issues so it doesn't sound promising.

 

Do you still have your old phone? If so, make sure it doesn't still have a connection to the fitbit in its bluetooth settings as this could be blocking connection to the new phone.
