Does the Fitbit verse work with the Samsung galaxy J3 Prime?  I bought an Alta and it did not.

Welcome to the Forums @626.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Congratulation on your Alta.

This might have happened because the J3 Prime is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the syncing.

If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Is there a time frame of when the prime j 3 will be compatible with the Alta?  Seems silly it doesn't work with all Samsung phones.

Welcome to the Forums @Wackyjak. Hello @626.

@Wackyjak Thanks for sharing all of those details and your positive experience.

@626 Did you get a chance to try the steps I recommended? That should definitely help. In addition, as for when will that phone be added to the list we do not have any details on the matter.

Maybe you could support this suggestion to add that phone. You can support it by commenting or voting for it. Be sure to read the FAQ to better understand how that board works.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
