Scale not syncing with phone

I have the air scale it rarely will sync with my phone. Every time I I want to use the scale I have to reboot my phone.

 

Why is it when Google buys a company everything goes right in the toilet, my Nest thermostat no longer works another Google company, losing faith in everything Google very fast.

Have you tried clearing the fitbit app's cache?

Yes I've done that, and reset the scale, and reinstalled the app.
