Food tracker is wrong wrong wrong.  How is there not someone at fitbit that is watching all this false information?  I am day 4 into a nutrion and fitness competition and all my food is wrong wrong wrong.

I can't believe this.  I only bought a fitbit because it had the food tracker from my wrist.

Hi @Auntie-Jess  it's best if you tell us more. If it's wrong, then give some examples. Are you logging all your food?

Give you examples?  Trust me the food is wrong.

The sodium amounts are completely incorrect.

The carbs are completely incorrect.

Try logging some food...  for me, I have to find a program that is accurate and waste my time redoing something i've already completed.

I don't understand how to post photos here.

But from the can

Goya black beans

Serving size 1/2 cup

Calories 130

From the data base with a bar code scan

Black Bean

Goya

Serving size 1/2 cup

Calories 90

I've asked a moderator to stop by to help you @Auntie-Jess It seems like the errors are in the food data base.

there are most definitely errors in the food database.  There is a lot of sodium that is incorrect too.

@Auntie-Jess Welcome on board. @Odyssey13 Thanks for the heads up!

@Auntie-Jess Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I understand how important this data is for you and I'm sorry for this inconvenience. Please know every feedback shared in the forums is always provided to our team to work on our products, and improve them. Because you posted in this board, could you confirm if you're logging your food on the website? If that's correct, I'd recommend clearing the cookies and cache of your browser, and try one more time.

On the other hand, if this happens when logging on the Fitbit app, please provide me with the model of your phone so I can investigate on my end.

I am logging food both ways.  Your data base is incorrect.  All of these responses are just a smoke screen.  I will take the time out of my day to make sure that the food I'm logging is correct.

It's not my cache or my phone.  It's your database.

Hi there, @Auntie-Jess.

I see where you're coming from and appreciate you for getting back with more details about this situation. As you may know, every data logged on the Fitbit app will sync to your online dashboard without any change, so the information can be the same. However, if the details aren't logged correctly, both platforms will display the wrong food logs information.

That being said, because you mentioned to have used the scan bar function on the Fitbit app, may I know the model and OS version of your phone? These details will help me to further investigate and see what may be occurring.

See you around.

Hi there, @Auntie-Jess.

I've moved your post to the Android App board to keep the forums organized. Thanks for getting back with the requested information. I understand how important this data is for you and to work on this together, please give a try to the following steps in the given order:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. On your phone's settings, tap Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  3. Go back one screen, tap Force Stop and reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  5. Use the bar scan one more time and check your details.

Hope this helps.
