I've enjoyed accessing Google Assistant from my Sense since this model first came out (e.g., "Set timer for 5 minutes," "note to self," etc.).
For a few months now, I always get the dreaded "No Bluetooth" screen of death when long-pressing the Sense button to access Google Assistant. I can TEMPORARILY fix it by opening the Fitbit app on my Pixel 6, and click-click-click through to the Assistant settings and setting-up Google Assistant again and again (Fitbit app sometimes says G.A. "not connected" but clicking through fixes it anyway).
This works for up to about an hour, but then again, my watch says "No Bluetooth" again.
Has anyone found this problem and does anyone have the fix that will solve this for good?
It's a shame because it worked fine for at least a year+. I'm thinking spending a bit more to go to the Apple eco-system is worth it to avoid the lost time and frustration: they charge more, but they prioritize user-experience and definitely do a lot more constant testing so as not to anger their customers.

After months of frustrating daily disconnects, my Fitbit Sense watch (Android) seems to have been keeping constant "Google Assistant" connection for the past few weeks (without anything changing on my end). Fitbit or Google must have pushed out a secret update.
However, I still feel that Fitbit/Google are error-prone and their products are brittle--i.e., will cease to function as expected at any time. They're simply not as focused on product quality/testing as the likes of Apple (albeit much less expensive). Are our lives improved with these gadgets if we spend so much time researching/fixing problems and seeking work-arounds? When do we have time left to go out and play and enjoy life?

Thank you, I hope it gets resolved soon, big nuisance. Two google products working together shouldn't have this issue, embarassing.

I certainly hope this is fixed soon. Ridiculous. Random disconnect for no reason.

Thanks. It's still not fixed as of 5/24/23. Incidentally, not sure if it's related, our Google Home Assistant has also been failing lately: losing connection to smart switches around the home: simply pulling down to refresh in the Google Home app will re-connect all switches, but it's a PIA to have to do that every day.
