Set up problems

I am trying to set up new account but cannot get it to work. Messagr telling me to update application on phone. I cant get the app to download on my computer either.

You do not say what phone you have, @Tbelcher.  Is it on the Fitbit Supported Devices list?  Did you install the latest Fitbit app from Google Play Store, v2.39.1?
