Setting a second Fitbit as the default device in the app

I just bought a Charge 6 and added it to my account. I have a previous Charge 2 device also on my account that I still plan on using for the more rugged workouts (where it's likely to get scraped or scratched), as it's still functioning perfectly after so many years. Both are connected properly with the app, but I'd like to set the Charge 6 as the default or primary device, mainly because the battery indicator on the app dashboard shows the battery level for the Charge 2 only. I'd like to change it to show the Charge 6's battery level. How do I do this?

@pjfarr   This isn't a guaranteed answer.  Please try manually syncing your Charge 6 with your Charge 2 well out of Bluetooth range.  Let us know if it works.

BTW, I just want to let you know about two differences between the Charge 2 and 6, if you don't already know.  Your Charge 2 gives active minutes and your Charge 6 gives active zone minutes.  They use different equations and heart rate thresholds.  It is harder to earn active zone minutes.  The Charge 6 doesn't count floors.

It looks like that may have worked (manually syncing out of range of the Charge 2). The battery level on the dashboard now matches what is shown on the Charge 6. Thank you.

Yes, there are many differences between the 2 and the 6 I'm noticing, mostly good. I won't miss the floor counter, it was never that accurate. I do miss the option to edit and re-order the exercise list and eliminate the ones I don't use, as I could on the 2. The 6 has a very long list to scroll through to get to "Weightlifting". But I noticed that the most recently used exercises are bumped to the top so that's at least better than having to do that long scroll every time.
