I just received my fitbit but even though I have it charging on the laptop it doesn't show the battery on the screen or it doesn't let me see or do anything else..help!!!

It's set up on my app on my phone, but not the device itself

Which device do you have?

 

You need to go through the set up process by downloading the Fitbit app. Click for instructions, with video.

@rgomez7 I recommend attempting a restart on the Blaze and then putting it back in the charging cradle. When you place it in the cradle and connect it to a power source, you should see the battery level displayed. Let me know if that helps.
