Need some help.
Returned from a trip abroad and I could not get my fitbit alta to sync with the app to reflect the correct time in my home country.
After reading the advice I decided to reinstall the fitbit app onto my Samsung J3.
However I now can't get past the 'Set up a Device' screen.
At times it doesn't recognize the device at all (despite many restarts of the app, phone, bluebooth and alta) and then at times it does, I get to the stage where I put the 4 digit number in but they it just 'hangs' and wont progress past the screen. I've spent HOURS trying to resolve this with no success - any ideas?

In the meantime please double check that you have the latest app version and that you have followed these steps to setup your tracker as a replacement device on your Android app.
- On the Fitbit app for Android dashboard, tap the menu icon in the top left corner.
- Tap Devices.
- Tap the + icon in the top right corner.
- If you're replacing a tracker, tap the tracker you want to replace. If you're setting up a new tracker, tap Add a new Device.
- Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue.
Keep me posted with the outcome! 🙂
P.S. Just wanted you to know that I've gone ahead and moved your recent topic "Setup with J3" to the Android app board, this post may be helpful to other users with the same inquiry as you.
