Sharing Badge automatically takes me to text message.

How do I get back all the other sharing options when trying to share a badge?

I am using Android.

@ddaazz A warm welcome to our Fitbit Community! Seems odd that you get another page when you try to share a badge. Try logging out of the app, turn off your phone and turn it back on. Once this has been done, open the app, log in and try to share the badge again. Also, make sure that your phone has the most recent Fitbit app version installed.

I was just now able to replicate and solve your problem.

You have your message app set as default for the share function.

From your app drawer on you phone, tap and hold the messenger icon then drag it to "app info"

Then, scroll down to clear defaults. This will solve the problem. To prevent this from occurring again when trying to share badges, do not select "always" when after selecting the share button, hit "just once" instead.

I am now running Android 6.0.1 and the "complete action using" screen has returned, so I now have all 13 sharing options back....however I have not shared a badge yet to see if it automatically remembers my choice.

@ddaazz Thanks for getting back and keeping the update posted here. I would like to know if the steps that my friend @SunsetRunner also helped you to get the sharing options again.

 

Try sharing a badge when available and let me know if the issue got resolved.

Problem not solved. I shared a badge via email and if I want to share another badge it automatically selects email. "Complete action using" screen does not appear.

Hey, @ddaazz! Thanks for joinin us! Please make sure that you have updated to the latest version (2.35) of the App. Also, if the suggestions provided by our friends, @JuanJoFitbit and @SunsetRunner did not work, send us a screenshot of the option you see when trying to do this.
