Sleep Tracker not recording on my flex 2 and troube everything syncing.

Back in December I upgraded to a flex 2 from the flex. I was very happy with it until about a month ago. At that time I started to have issues with syncing, started to not trust the step count being correct (due to another tracker) and noticing my sleep tracking missing some days. The issues started after an update of the app. Since then the syncing have gotten has gotten worse, the difference in my steps very much more than they did before from the other tracker and Sleep tracking has turned to non-existent. I have tried to uninstall the app and reinstall it and I have also tried to delete and reenter the tracker still having the same issues. I have even gone back to my original Flex see if that will track sleep and it does. Is my flex 2 defective or is there a fix to this?

 

Update.

Last night I found and listening to restart the traxker by pressing the button on the charger. Tried it then put it back on before bed and this morning it is still doing the same.

Hi there @amatkowsky, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community and my apologies for the late response. I was reading your post and it seems your Flex 2 is not working properly at the moment to sync or display your sleep.

 

You did good in trying to restart your Flex 2 on your own. I was thinking in recommend this based on the issue you were experiencing, so thank you for sharing in your post that you already performed this.

 

Now, I was happy to reach out to our Support Team and they were able to confirm that they're currently working to reach a resolution with you. I recommend following up with them and then letting me know how it turns out.

@RobertoME thanks for the response. I have been working with tech support on these issues and unfortunately nothing has been able to fix the sleep tracking issue yet after trying a few things. I'm also having issues with my step count not adding up to the known distance I'm walking, problems  syncing and not alway getting the vibration reminders. I really think my flex 2 Is a lost cause.
