Hello @Shlmor123, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! If your sleep is not starting at the time you are going to bed, there are a few things we can try:

Lets start with a restart, since I'm not sure which type of tracker you have to share with you the steps, I'm going to share with you our article with the necessary help to do a restart based on your tracker model: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Make sure your tracker is snug enough on your wrist and if the issue persist try to sleep with the tracker on your non-dominant hand.

If you think your log still is inaccurate try to play with the sensitive modes of your tracker.

  • The normal setting counts significant movements as being awake (such as rolling over) and is appropriate for most users.
  • The sensitive setting will cause your device to record nearly all movements as time spent restless or awake.

To change your settings you need to go to your online Dashboard in the tracker' settings.

Hope this helps. See you until the next time.

I have this problem too.  I go to bed at 10 or 11 yet some nights it shows i started at 2 am or 1:30 am.  I probably got up to use the bathroom?  But I always get up once or twice and sometimes it shows the correct time.  I think I am doing something when I'm up - often I check to see the moon when I'm up or I turn Fitbit on to see what time it is.  How can I correct the starting time?

@cindy3pdx steps to edit your sleep logs can be found here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1306.htm

What this doesn't say, however, is that once you've edited your log and saved the changes that you'll have to exit out of the app (NOT log out of it) and force stop the app via your phone's settings - Apps function. When you fire the app back up, all of your stats for your sleep should be fully updated to reflect the updated sleep start date/time
