Sleep score issue after latest update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Anyone else having issues with the fitbit app (mine is on a Pixel Watch 2) after the update to 4.34.1 calculating a sleep score or daily readiness?  I already followed the chat help, uninstalling/reinstalling the phone app, unlinking, forgetting and resetting the watch, etc.  None makes the scores calculate. This coincides with the app changing the sleep categories as well from REM/Light /deep to more general awake/asleep/Restlessness in the latest update.

Hi, @JKNYC welcome to the community, when you delete the Fitbit app & reload it seems to be important to restart your phone. I'm running a PW2, Fitbit app 4.34.1 on a Pixel 8 pro phone and have resuscitated the sleep score a few times using this process.

I resolved the problem by deleting & reloading the Fitbit app on my phone. The belt & braces process is as follows. Sync your Fitbit app on the phone, Go to your phone settings>Apps>Fitbit>force stop>clear cache & storage>uninstall. Go to connected devices & forget your PW. RESTART YOUR PHONE. Go to the Play store & reload the Fitbit app & log in again. Check the PW app is connected again to your PW and ensure the LEDs on the back of your PW are flashing. Wear overnight & look for the Sleep score & timeline in the morning. Please post here again & let us know how you get on.

Cheers

Apparently the process I used the other day (uninstalling/reinstalling the fitbit app on the phone and then disconnecting / forgetting the Bluetooth connection and resetting the watch /reassociating fixed the issue as I have a sleep score this AM.  A lot of doing, but it's working.  Big PITA.  Thank you for your reply

I fixed mine by turning off bluetooth on my phone, restarting my watch and the turning the bluetooth back on.  Both the score and graph is back this morning.

I'm having the same issue. Pixel watch 2 with Pixel  9 Pro XL. Tried reinstalling everything and restarting, etc. It happened around 1/6.

Hi, @Warrenzwatch welcome, have you followed through with the solutions posted above? In particular, if you delete & reinstall the Fitbit app you must force stop, clear cache, delete & restart your phone.

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers

Yes, I did reinstall the Fitbit app on both my phone and the watch, and rebooted everything. I confirmed this started on January 12, when the new fitbit android app was pushed down. Plus I signed up for Fitbit premium last week. None of this seemed to help.

But...
Magically today, several days after doing all the reinstalling and rebooting, I am getting the sleep detail and score! It seems to be fixed now. All of my sleep details between Jan 12 and Jan 27 still only have sleep, restless, awake scores, and they seem to have been overly optimistic by about an hour per night.
