Inspire 3 doesn't show live HR on app

A couple of days ago, my Inspire 3 stopped syncing with my android phone. After trying everything under the sun, it seemed the inspire needed updating, which I did. But now there seems to be less functionality. The app only shows my live bpm from two days ago, or a range from today, not live bpm.

Welcome to the community, @GrumpyInYorks.

Thanks for letting me know about your Inspire 3 and your efforts while installing the update. I'm sorry you're having this experience. Because it's been a while since you posted, may I know if the issue persists? Does the same happen with the rest of your data?

In the meantime, please give a try to the steps described in this help article so we can ensure that all your data keeps syncing correctly.

Thanks for your reply. It is now working ok, after clearing the cache. What
was frustrating was the absence of information to explain what was
happening in the first place. Either the app or the phone should have said
that an update was required rather than just stopping working. And one the
Fitbit was updated, there should have been some kind of message to explain
that the cache needed clearing to sync with the new update. The lack of
information meant I wasted a lot of time trying to get it working whilst
also worrying that I might lose my historical data. Given how well the app
normally works, the update process was shockingly bad.
