Sleep stats on Mobile App

This is just a minor gripe, but still an observation which the dev team might iron out for better user experience.

On the android mobile app, when i wake up and sync my tracker, then if i see my sleep stats, it shows nothing tracked. But when I click on sleep to see details, and then come back , it now shows the sleep tracked correctly.Ideally, post sync, the homepage of the app should show the sleep  stats without the need to go inside sleep and come back.

I find this also happens with mine. I also find that it doesnt always track propely either. There are times when i get gaps in the report. I dont understand why. Sometimes its a hour or more other times a minute or few. It then breaks it down separately. It would help 1, to figure out why it does this and 2, maybe add a merge option so that i can more accurately log my sleep.

It's nice to see you around @saurabh9, hope you're doing great today Smiley Very HappyWhen you wake up, open the Fitbit app again, tap I'm Awake, then tap View Summary to see a summary of your sleep.

I'd recommend checking the How do I manage my sleep logs with the Fitbit app? article to get a detailed information about how this works!

By any chance, have you checked that your Fitbit app is up-to-date?

I'll be around!

@MarreFitbit,
When i have a gap in my log that separates it into 2 or 3 sleep logs, if I edit it by changing the time, we'll it then adjust itself and combine into one log? Or will it still be separate?
Why does it do this?
Is there a way I can upload a screen shot to show you what I'm referring to?

No worries my friend @sharj, I know what you're referring to Smiley Very Happy

To merge your 2 sleep entries you need to delete both and to log one with the time you entered and exited bed.

To delete or modify a sleep record, do the following:

1. Log in to your Dashboard and navigate to the sleep log page: Fitbit.com/sleep
2. Using the calendar date selector, choose the date with the sleep log that you would like to edit.
3. Hover your mouse over the sleep log in question.
4. To delete the sleep record, click on the "X" that appears in the upper right hand corner.
5. To modify the start and stop times of your sleep log, click on the pen and note pad icon.

You can also edit your sleep log using the Fitbit app. To see the step by step information about it, please check the article I've provided above.

Happy stepping!

Thank you. Unfortunately, that wont work for me. My sleep pattern has too many entries for me to sit down and play/edit all of that to get a proper log. There has got to be a way to figure out why it is skipping time and making separate log entries.

At least the other posters can track sleep. I am still unable to do so because there is no setting on my dashboard for sleep; neither is there a setting for tracking steps. I have communicated with customer service four times to no avail. It is quite discouraging. I have tried uninstalling /reinstalling the app, but that did nothing. According to your site my device is supported - Samsung Galaxy 4G LTE, Bluetooth is enabled. I went through all the steps I was presented, I am perplexed as to what next to do.
