The sleep log in the Adroid app calculates the amount of sleep incorrectly. It has the times correctly (ie 11-6) but calculates the total hours slept one fewer than is correct. For this example, it says I only slept for 6 hours when in reality I slept for 7.

Are you subtracting awake time from total time? Perhaps you had an hour of wake time between 11 and 7.
You would have to include screen cap(s) to help us understand exactly what you are seeing.
