Is great to see you on the Community @Rachel5978Smiley LOL Smart Track is available on Fitbit Alta, Fitbit Blaze, Fitbit Surge, and Fitbit Charge HR. This feature recognizes activities like Walking, Running, Outdoor biking and Elliptical. It also recognizes two general categories:
- Sport: Includes high-movement sports like tennis, basketball, soccer, and others. Sports that might not be recognized include those without continuous movement or that vary in intensity level, like golf.
- Aerobic workout: Includes aerobic activities with continuous movement, such as Zumba, cardio-kickboxing, and other dance classes.

Let me share with you this video about Smart Track: https://youtu.be/5RTKB9-1UFA

Now, lets go to your question:

You will find this feature on your Fitbit app dashboard by tapping on the Exercise tile to see your exercise history. You can also find this on fitbit.com by going to your activity log. For each SmartTrack detected exercise you'll find stats such as duration and estimated calorie burn. Remember that distance and pace are not included. Note that your SmartTrack stats appear on your dashboard but not on your tracker.

In addition, let me share with you this article "What should I know about SmartTrack?" where you'll find more information about how to manage this feature.

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any additional question, I'll be around! Smiley Wink

Thank you for your reply, i had been using it and keeping up with my
exercises. I did find that somehow it had been hidden from view. Thank you!

Oh! it was hidden? Smiley Very Happy. Well if this happens again, open your Fitbit app and scroll all the way down and you'll find the option to return your tile there. Smiley Wink However in the meantime take a look on our Discussion Board where you'll find a lot of tips to improve your healthy life and tips to hit your goals.

Hi!  I have an android phone and I also have the Alta...when I go to the settings under exercise there is nothing for me to choose from, it is completely blank.  Please advise.

Allow me to help you @Shesh! If you want to add SmartTrack the reason why you're not seeing it, it's because the phone doesn't support it. You may want to check the list and type the phone model to see if it should have it.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted.

@Shesh Thanks for letting me know the device model. However, since you mentioned you have an Alta. I would like you to check your Dashboard and see if you have the correct activities set to SmartTrack such and also the time that you have. You may be running for 5 minutes and stop and that activity won't be recorded automatically because of the time that you have set it could be that it should record it until you've been running for 30 minutes. Go to your settings scroll down > automatically recognized exercises.

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.
